Temple Run 2 :OVER One Billion Downloads

9game provided: Tmple Run 2 is the sequel to one of the most popular action games for mobile devices, and it has just enough new features to make it an excellent follow-up.

Imangi Studios, the creators of popular game Temple Run, on Wednesday announced that the Temple Run and Temple Run 2 together have reached the milestone of one billion downloads. Notably, the figure doesn't include download statistics from Temple Run: Brave and Temple Run: Oz, which would boost that figure slightly.
With this Temple Run joins the likes of other popular game, Angry Birds, which had reached the milestone of one billion cumulative downloads in 2012. Rovio had included the original Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, Angry Birds Rio, and, Angry Birds Space to get the one billion downloads number. The game was first launched as an iOS app in December 2009 and later it debuted on other platforms.
Other than that from the Temple Run series itself, "Players have collectively spent over 216,018 years playing Temple Run. Over 32 billion games have been played. Temple Run players have run a total of 50 trillion meters," said company in its press release.
Founded in 2008 by husband-and-wife team Keith Shepherd and Natalia Luckyanova, Imangi Studios launched Temple Run in 2011.
Alongside the milestone, the company also detailed information about its audience. China alone accounts for 36 percent of all downloads, whereas only 21 percent are from the US. Also interestingly, Imangi Studios reported 60 percent of all Temple Run players were female.
"Having Temple Run reach the one billion downloads mark is a milestone we couldn't have imagined when we first started out," said Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi Studios. "We're incredibly grateful to all the Temple Run players and our wonderful team. We look forward to continuing to grow the Temple Run franchise, as well as creating additional innovative games."

What is the fastest growing mobile game? TEMPLE RUN 2!

9game provided: Temple Run 2 is a very popular action game on the Android and iOS devices and is the sequel to the immensely popular Temple Run.

Temple Run 2 has become the fastest growing mobile game of all times, clocking over 50 million downloads on iOS, Android and Kindle devices in just 13 days. Game developer Imangi Studios confirmed the landmark via a press release.
Commenting on the landmark, Keith Shepherd, co-founder of Imangi said, "Temple Run has evolved into something so much bigger than us. The game has performed beyond our wildest dreams, and we are thrilled that gamers and fans have embraced Temple Run 2 in such a short period of time."
The game has broken the record of Angry Birds Space that reached the landmark of 50 million downloads in 35 days.
Imangi Studios released the successor to the popular original Temple Run title on iOS on January 17, and the game became the most-downloaded free app within 24 hours. The game clocked over 20 million downloads in just four days on iOS alone. A week after the iOS release, Temple Run 2 was released on Android. Now, comes the news of 50 million downloads in just 13 days.
Temple Run 2 promises beautiful new graphics, more vibrant environs, new hurdles, more power ups and achievements. The basic gameplay stays true to the original game, which means you still are the thief behind the stolen cursed idol and continue running. But this time round, there's one huge weird-faced monkey chasing you down the temple cliffs and ruins instead of three as seen in the original game.
As noted earlier, Temple Run 2 is successor to the original title Temple Run that was an instant hit with over 170 million downloads across the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Marketplace.

Latest Tips for Temple Run 2 Players!!

9game provided: Temple Run 2 is a very popular action game on the Android and iOS devices and is the sequel to the immensely popular Temple Run.

The Ropeways
Sliding down the ropeways leads to the next level down and oftentimes, either at the right or the left, there are two levels that seems like you can jump onto them. There are maybe levels that you either have already passed or you might be passing further in the game, but it is not possible to jump in the middle of the ropeway to get to those levels. Just give up on trying to get to those levels if you do not want to lose the points that you have accumulated.
Shield
It only protects you from obstacles such as roofs, fire, trees, spiky wheels, wooden trippers etc. It does NOT protect you from falling! It only protects you from one obstacle. Useful in the situation pictured here.
Boulders
So far there is nothing special about the huge boulders that you will encounter as the game progresses. Most games tend to add something extra special to objects in the background. No matter how many times you try to maneuver your character to that huge boulder to move it, nothing special happens afterwards.
Coin Magnet
Very helpful power-up, as you don't need to tilt your device so much. It can drag coins from other turns while on the railways. Works perfectly with Boost.
The Mines
Some players may have thought that at least the mine tunnels have a hidden passageway or special bonuses if you do some simple tricks to open them. The amazing part of this area is that you only get to ride through it, without anything extra special happening.
Gem
Gives you a gem. Gems are used to revive with Save Me.
The Floating Island
As you traverse further into the game, you will notice some islands or objects floating across the road, some in the background. It can get quite tempting to jump over to that island, as you might get extra bonuses that are ultimately special that it doubles your total points. Judging on how high your character can jump, you will just have to give up, because you will be heading to your grave.
Large Coin
Fills your Power Meter by approximately 1/3 and gives you 50 coins.
This is very helpful because it can fill your meter.
Just Decorations?
Maybe all these things that you will notice in the game are just there for display and have no extra meaning to them. At least, you should learn to trick in the game if you are still new to it: a cliff with right or left paths. There is nothing special with either path, just choose one randomly before you go directly over the cliff.

【REVIEW】GTA3:10 Year Anniversary Edition - 2

9Game: This article is about GTA 3: Anniversary for Android. Here are some opinions for you to learn more about this action game.

GTA III's controls are hugely customisable though – letting players alter the size and position of the buttons and the HUD, and choose between button, analog stick or accelerometer steering.
The other big difference between then and now is visual. The once blurry Liberty City is now gloriously sharp and pretty, and while there has been a little pruning – cars no longer have brake lights and some trees have been chopped down – it’s nothing anyone should really miss. Besides, everything of real importance is still there, including the taxi driver missions and GTA III's infamous radio stations.
Beyond the changes you have an almost unaltered landmark game that still delivers the all-important gaming fun. It might lack the style consciousness and storytelling smarts of later GTAs but its nihilistic action is still potent, not least when taking out a train with a rocket launcher and then trying to deal with the waves of angry cops that follow. Somehow that’s even more fun now that you can do it while actually sitting on the train to work.

【REVIEW】GTA3:10 Year Anniversary Edition

9Game: This article is about GTA 3: Anniversary for Android. Here are some opinions for you to learn more about this action game.

Ten years back Grand Theft Auto III changed games. Not only did it give us the first believable virtual city to roam around, it also provided the kind of devilishly good gangster action that we now take for granted. Looking back it’s clearly the defining release of the PlayStation 2 era, and to celebrate a decade of carjacking, murder and stinging satire, it’s now available on smartphones and tablets.

The worry, of course, is the controls. Many developers trip up when moving from the precision of joypads to the fogginess of touchscreens. Thankfully, Rockstar has largely got it right: moving, shooting and carjacking are so effortless that it’s easy to forget you’re actually using a touchscreen. Unfortunately, GTA III's driving isn’t so successful and it’s hard not to drive like a drunk.

It’s not the end of the world and skilled gamers will be able to get used to it at least to an extent, but Rockstar could have compensated for this accidental increase in difficulty by giving players longer to finish the time-pressured driving missions. Or by adding support for iCade, letting players use devices like the Gametel controller and iControlPad to control Claude as he races and chases his way around Liberty City.

【TRICKS】Useful Tricks for Real Steel World Robot Boxing Part Two

9Game porvided: Real Steel World Robot Boxing is a new robot – based action game for the iPhone, iPad, and Android systems.

Championship battles are the ones that provide the largest prize if you beat them, but if you don’t win, you won’t earn that much money. If you are having trouble with a championship battle, go to the standard or time trial battles, and fight them over and over to earn more Real Coins. The first thing that you should buy is a new decal for your robot, because having a new decal will earn you extra bonus points after every battle.

After you have a decal, save up for new upgrades that you can get from the parts store. Upgrades include things like your mainframe and your hydraulics, and each upgrade will increase the strength of either your attacks, your armor, or your special attacks. Upgrades are necessary in order to beat harder opponents when you battle. Of course, save up an extra stash of coins so that when you move to the next tier, you can buy an appropriate robot for the higher tier.

Time your attacks and your defensive maneuvers just right so that you can stop your opponent from attacking. The best way to do this is to throw quick weak punches over and over, then when you back of them up against the wall, double tap backwards over and over and let them come back towards you. Plus, even if your weak punches get blocked, your special meter will rise every time, allowing you to quickly unleash a special attack. Keep your special attacks highly upgraded, and when you use them, they will take away a huge amount of your enemies’ energy.

【TRICKS】Useful Tricks For Real Steel World Robot Boxing

9Game porvided: Real Steel World Robot Boxing is a new robot – based action game for the iPhone, iPad, and Android systems.

In this game your objective is to pick a robot, upgrade it with all kinds of new parts, and fight to the death against other robots. As you fight and win, you will earn Real Coins and Real Gold, which will allow you to upgrade your robot and buy brand-new robots. Read on for some tips and tricks for Real Steel World Robot Boxing.

When you run out of Energy Cores, you are unable to fight in any more battles until you have at least one of them regenerated. But if you don’t feel like waiting to regenerate all of your Energy Cores, you can cheat and help the process along. All that you have to do is and go to the date and time settings on your phone or tablet and set the time forward. Half an hour should be enough to restore all of your energy.

After you do this, go back to the game and all of your energy will have been restored. Then, if you go back to the date and time settings, and set the time back to normal, you can go back to the game and all of that free energy that you just got will still be there. You can do this as many times as you want, with no limits, and you can keep battling forever this way.

【REVIEW】Real Steel: World Robot Boxing

9Game provided: Real Steel: World Robot Boxing is the second mobile action game based on the Hugh Jackman film, but familiarity with the movie or with the first game in the nascent franchise aren't necessary to enjoy or play the game. It's robot boxing, which is about all that you need to know.

So let's start with that boxing. You control your robot in a 2D boxing slugfest against another robot using a virtual joypad on the bottom left of the screen and action buttons on the bottom right. The controls do a good job of avoiding obscuring the action on screen, although the placement of the special attack button that appears when that attack becomes available is poor as it's hard to see it pop-up when it's behind your thumb. The three regular buttons include the standard trio of light punch, heavy punch, and block. The punches can be further modified by pressing a direction on the d-pad as the punch button is pressed. The fights are your standard affair of timing your strikes, blocks, and counters ' nothing groundbreaking or novel here but the formula is implemented well enough.

While the boxing is fun enough, the overall experience is marred by the fact that the game is a freemium app, and while that is not necessarily a bad thing in and of itself the problem here is that the game manages to take everything that's annoying about these games to the nth degree. First there's the ads, which pop-up at random continually during play sessions. Then there's the robot upgrades that you'll need to stay competitive beyond the first couple of matches. You can slowly earn the funds needed for these upgrades after each fight, or you can use 'Real Gold' to upgrade quickly. Buy an upgrade and you need to wait for a countdown timer before it's installed ' or you can spend 'Real Gold' to enable it right away. You can only play five fights per game session ' want more then wait for a countdown timer or spend 'Real Gold'. Most egregious, though, is that to advance to the next tier you need to get a friend to play the game and give you a pass to advance ' or you can spend 'Real Gold'. There's a decent game hidden under all of this monetization, but it's not worth subjecting yourself to all of these aggressive attempts for you to put a lot of money into the game. The game's just not good enough to cost so much to enjoy.

Why GTA San Andreas Worth playing?(4)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an hot Action game and 9game wants to share a review of GTA San Andreas with you.

And that's just the gameplay and storyline. It's a shame that it's wrapped up with a slightly creaky graphics engine (though it's much cleaner and more detailed than Vice City, with far better animation), but it's more than adequate. The audio is absolutely dynamite, on the other hand, so if you were blown away by Vice City's radio stations and voice acting, you may need to sit down and maybe sip a cool drink. The amazingly good radio stations return, this time even broader in scope — a dozen themed stations in total — featuring an even wider spectrum of songs from more genres. The voice acting is spectacular, too; a sea of rappers get into the act, with work from James Woods, Peter Fonda, Bijou Phillips, Samuel L. Jackson and Chris Penn (doing magnificent work as pair of crooked cops); Chuck D, Axl Rose, Michael Bivins, and the great George Clinton (as "The Funkapotamus") do guest DJ duty (there's also a fairly lame Andy Dick routine and some work by the ever-fabulous talk radio man Lazlo).
There you have it. San Andreas rolls out the same routine as GTAIII and Vice City; where the first was Goodfellas made interactive and the second was a trip through Scarface, San Andreas brings out all the power of early '90s urban films, from people like Spike Lee or John Singleton and movies like Menace II Society, New Jack City, Juice, or even the standard, Boyz N Tha Hood. It's another series of shootouts, high-speed driving, and a palatable struggle for survival that makes this thing entertaining. The fact that Rockstar North has managed to create a much more believable character in a more vibrant, immersive world just shows why, exactly, they're still the kings of the non-linear mountain, and all y'all bustahs need t'stop frontin' an' sit ya fool #@()*es down. Or something.
Given the wonderful environment design, new RPG elements, and extremely well done "gangsta" theme, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas comes as close to perfect as anything in the past few years. A few technical issues and an aging engine are the only complaints, and they're minor.

Why GTA San Andreas Worth playing?(3)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an hot Action game and 9game wants to share a review of GTA San Andreas with you.

C.J. comes equipped with a small segment of new movies, as befits a thoroughly modern man like himself. The more noticeable ones are his ability to swim (eliminating Insta-Drown Syndrome and making boats all the more fun to use), a new crouch 'n' roll, and the ability to manually aim when firing weapons. Headshots ahoy, captain!
The most significant, though, is in C.J. himself. When he gets off the plane at the beginning, he's nothing more than a scrub in a cheap wifebeater and saggy jeans. No one thinks anything of him, not even his friends and family. In order to get him some respect amongst the denizens of Los Santos, he's going to have to improve his image just a bit.
This comes to a 'Sim-Gangstah' system that integrates so cleanly with the basic game, it's a wonder they've never bothered before. Take, for example, driving. At the beginning of GTAIII, Nameless gets 8-Ball to the hideout like a professional race driver. Tommy drives Ken Silverman away from the Cuban ambush without batting an eyelash. Now, look at Carl. When he first gets in a car, it's like his fingers are all broken and his eyes are useless. You'll spin around, drive over curbs, slide, crash, and bang into things, not unlike a guy who doesn't drive very well. Over time, just from simply working at it, you'll slowly improve that skill.
This applies to everything — cars, the new bicycles, motorcycles, aircraft, guns (earning Hitman status enables guns akimbo for that True Crime feel), swimming, and then some. Carl himself is a pretty malleable sort: you'll build his muscles, cut his hair, give him some bling-bling, trick out his cars, and dress him up in the finest ghetto-fabulous threads. You'll build Sex Appeal and, best of all, Respect, helping you move up and build The Grove Street Family back up to the powerful force they need to be.

Why GTA San Andreas Worth playing?(2)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an hot Action game and 9game wants to share a review of GTA San Andreas with you.

This time around, we fall facedown into another signature phase of Americana, in the role of another small-time grunt in the never-ending street war. The time, 1992. The place, a seedy bit of low-income housing buried in a forgotten corner of Los Santos in the west coast state of San Andreas. The soldier, one Carl "C.J." Johnson.
A few years ago, C.J. fled from the 'hood to the quieter pastures of Liberty City in order to escape impending gang war doom. Fate's got a way of bringing a person back, though, and when Carl gets word that his mother's been killed, he's back in heartbeat to the humid, gangbanger-riddled streets of his youth. Only this time, the gangs are different, the streets are different, and everyone from the cops to the Crips are out to make sure our Mr. Johnson winds up kissing the pavement with a few ounces of nine-millimeter love buried in his backside.
And there you have it, initially. Just like Unknown Shooter and Tommy Vercetti, C.J. has just a few supporters — his brother Sweet, best homeboy Ryder, and hanger-on wiseman Big Smokey — in his blood-spattered quest to revive the hood.
If you've ever played any of the GTAIII era games, you've seen this all before. If you haven't, here's a brief rundown: the big attraction of the game is the city. While there are missions and a semblance of a plot to worry about, what's more fun anything is getting into a car — you can steal them, and pretty easily to boot — and seeing what there is.
You'll have shootouts, run over pedestrians, drive too fast and get killed by the four-oh, but it's all temporary, as the game goes to great lengths to make sure you can't really lose in any permanent way. The fuzz busts you, you bribe your way out; you get shot more times than 50 Cent, and San Andreas' fine medical facilities. There's no time limit, no push forward, and no real penalties for screwing around and exploring (although there are borders set up to keep you from going just anywhere). This is an amazingly huge map, too, once it's entirely open, ranging through dozens of square miles of terrain, three major cities and at least a half-dozen small ones.

Why GTA San Andreas Worth playing?(1)

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an hot Action game and 9game wants to share a review of GTA San Andreas with you.

Y'know, they say you can never have too much of a good thing. Back when the GTA series decided to really start pushing the limits with Grand Theft Auto III blew out of nowhere and turned a half-successful franchise built on the world of speed, drugs, and random acts of senseless violence into a full bore legend, it was new, great, and interesting. Since those halcyon days of 2002, the roam-about-and-do-whatever-comes-about riff has been copied, duplicated, reinterpreted, folded, spindled, and mutilated, with various levels of quality. Still, these three years later, the folks at Rockstar North do it better than all of those poseurs.
Grand Theft Auto III took us through the rather generic world of a modern-day pseudo New York, guiding the guns of the Unknown Thug. The second shot, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, was a more cinematic endeavor, starring a small cache of Hollywood talent through the sordid tale of one Tommy Vercetti as he tried to save his own buttocks from the proverbial wringer. Dripping with '80s nostalgia and culture references, it was lauded for hitting the theme square on while still expanding on the freeform SimThug from the first title. In two shots, GTA went from a mediocre overhead shooting fest to a crime spree in a living, breathing city.

Review of Real Steel World Robot Boxing (2)

Real Steel World Robot Boxing for Android is a very popular action game and thousands of gamers around the world are crazy about  it.
9game provides you a review of this game below.
Let’s get the obvious part out of the way: boxing robots is just a flat out awesome idea, and one that appeals to the five-year-old boy or girl in all of us. This game doesn’t disappoint in its efforts to bring those clashes to life, sporting better graphics than the first Real Steel mobile game and some creative robot designs. The themes are great – there’s a football-inspired fighter, one with a blackjack motif, a cowboy bot with arms shaped like six-shooters, and more.
Pitting them against each other is fairly straightforward, with a virtual d-pad on the left and buttons on the right. Boxing is a strictly 2D affair here, which limits you to punching and blocking, but there’s still some strategy required as you look to counter when your opponent’s guard is down. The game doesn’t explain this fully, but pressing the pad while hitting the light or heavy attack buttons throws a slightly different kind of punch for each direction, so there are more options than it may initially appear.
All of these tactics combine to ruin the experience a bit, which is a shame since it has definite potential. The various championship leagues each have their own set of contenders leading up to a title fight of sorts, and you can purchase and upgrade new tiers of robots as you progress. Multiple skins grant bonus cash for wins, as well as just making your bots look better, and daily challenges have increasing rewards when you log in on consecutive days. Online head-to-head play sounds like it would be a blast, but it’s not ready yet.
That’s pretty standard stuff for a freemium title like this, but World Robot Boxing sadly takes things to another level of annoyance by being aggressively in-your-face about monetization. An energy system allows only five fights per session, forcing you to spend Real Gold or wait to play more. Pop-up ads for other games are rampant and appear without warning. Moving up from one tier to the next also necessitates either spending Real Gold or asking for a fight pass from a friend, a holdover tactic from older social gaming days that’s better off left in the past.
Hopefully that means this is a game that will improve with future updates. Similar to the movie that inspired it, Real Steel: World Robot Boxing isn’t a runaway success, but it’s a solid effort at keeping an idea alive that’s too awesome to let go. Until we get boxing robots in real life – and hopefully someone is working on that – this will have to do.

Review of Real Steel World Robot Boxing (1)

Real Steel World Robot Boxing for Android is a very popular action game and thousands of gamers around the world are crazy about  it.
9game provides you a review of this game below.
The Hugh Jackman flick Real Steel made $85 million domestically with its “What if Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots was a real thing?” concept. That may or may not be enough money to warrant a sequel, but Reliance Games feels there’s more life in the franchise to make Real Steel: World Robot Boxing for iOS and Android. It’s free-to-play, simple to learn, and full of cool visuals, but some unfortunate design decisions keep it from being a knockout.
Set after the events of the movie (and knowledge of the film is absolutely not necessary), World Robot Boxing features Atom, Noisy Boy, Midas, and some of the franchise’s other stars, but also expands both the scope and the cast of characters. Your ultimate goal is to dethrone Zeus, the WRB champion, by fighting your way through multiple increasingly difficult circuits of robot fighters. Three bots are yours to choose from to start, with a fourth available if you can convince a friend to play too.
A meter charges as you land and block punches, and each robot has its own well-animated special attack sequence available once it’s full. Finishing moves? Yep, those are in here too, provided you tap the right spots that pop up once your foe’s energy is down to zero.
Should you prove victorious, you earn money that can be spent to upgrade your robot’s armor, power, and special ratings. There are five levels of upgrades possible for each of the five components, though a wait time is put into effect for the top two levels. Real Gold, the game’s premium currency, is the workaround, and you can earn it by leveling up as well as buying it via in-app purchases.
